The weather has been a bit chilly for the past two days, and the rains have been pouring. Here Brenda, Juliet, and little Mary warm themselves around a little brazier as they wait for lunch to be served.

Meet a grandmother who has taken care of her grandchild for years now. This is Susan's grandmother who came to fetch her grandchild after class. She is very caring and would love to see Susan finish school.

Five-year-old Emmanuel writing numbers 1 to 10 in class. Emmanuel is the son of Pauline, our member of the team, and is the last born in a family of six.

Juliet, who is retired Margret's granddaughter, cleans the huge pot. She is cheerful and hard working, and she loves being on the team.

Our very own girls, who are now at Twabo, pose for a photo at the Living Compassion house when they came to see Aunty Theresa. So far they say school is going on perfectly.

Our very own Jowen saying she enjoys being at the property each day and is thankful to Living Compassion, both here and the USA, for being there for her and her children. She is happy that her children, who were little when her husband passed on, have grown up and are all in school. She is able to feed and take care of them without any problem. A BIG THANK-YOU TO ALL, she says.

Natasha, one of our team members, with her two little children. Natasha and her family moved onto the property in the main house where Margret was living. Margret now lives with her grandaughter in Kantolomba after the family decided that she needed to be cared for because of her health and age. Natasha was renting in Kantolomba and is very happy to be the new caretaker.

Baby Ignitius is our cute face of Kantolomba this week. He is in Malila's class and loves drawing. He is four years old and lives with his mother and grandmother. His father passed on last year.

The Living Compassion family is growing. Our member of staff Florence recently gave birth to a bouncy baby girl. Florence now has five children.

Mary Bwalya and Mary Mwanza in their school uniforms, our very own from the Girls Team who made it to Grade Ten this year. They are both at Lubuto Secondary School. We are so proud of them!

Weeds are growing fast, though we are not receiving much rain. Here Euginia weeding along the road that leads to the property.

Little Beatrice, a Grade Four student, loves to help her mother fetch water at the Living Compassion tap. She is the sister of Christin Kalenga, one of the girls in the program.

Our team passed the health tests on food handling done by the health team that visited Kantolomba. Living Compassion came out tops on the list. Here some of our team members are holding posters given to them by the health team. The posters have information about cleanliness and how to prevent cholera.

Peter, our staff member who has not been feeling too well lately, is back and doing fine.

We have a new member of the Living Compassion family. Our team member Mirriam gave birth to a bouncing baby boy last Saturday. Here mum and son are both perfectly healthy and doing fine. The baby boy has been named Emmauel. Mirriam now has eight children--three boys and five girls.

Our very own girls who completed Grade 12 last year. They are now coming to Living Compassion to volunteer as they wait for their results.

Our little ones having lunch. One can tell that they really enjoy their meals by the way they eat and how their faces beam with joy.

Juliet, the water collector's granddaughter, carries a bucket to fetch clean water at the Living Compassion tap. She is now volunteering and taking care of her grandmother, who has retired due to poor health.

Our little ones brave the rains and come as early as 0700 hrs just to have lunch at Living Compassion.
