The Bridge Walk connects us to the love that is evoked by the Africa Vulnerable Children Project. And what’s heart-opening about the project? The happenings in Kantolomba—the stories, the heroism, the children, the music.
Invariably there is way more information, far more stories, exponentially more photos than can make it into the campaign. And as we put it together, I get more and more inspired and am reminded in deeper and deeper ways of just how important this work is, just how fortunate we are to get to participate.
So, as we continue putting together the campaign, here are some photos that will not make it into this year’s focus but are too good not to share! The photos come from Theresa and her young photography protégés!
Little Jonathan and Clement, shy facing the camera, try to smile.
These little ones, a big brother with his little brother and sister, are heading to the Living Compassion property for school as well as lunch.
At the property, little Sandra shows off her best cute smile for the camera. She is in teacher Beatrice’s class.
Children such as Sandra, who come to Living Compassion every day to eat and attend preschool, are what this project is about!
A bit later this month, we will be sharing information about how we can as a Sangha best support the needs of this project as it continues to grow and flourish. Stay tuned!
