Living Compassion Kantolomba closes its operations over the weekends, which gave us a chance to catch up on the blogs, work on special media projects, organize our photos, have some meetings with Theresa and our accounting team, and make plans for our last few days in Africa.

Meeting with Theresa over Waldorf salad and quesadillas (we confess we brought some ingredients in our suitcases for the Waldorf salad. The quesadillas, however, were a surprise find: we were able to get both tortillas and vegetarian refried beans—what a treat!)

Martha, our project accountant,  joins us to talk about finances.

It was also a time to get our R & L recordings in order, rest, and take beautiful walks around the neighborhood.

Are you sure you want to go for a walk? It's mighty cloudy.

We decide to eat first as the rain begins to dump from the sky.

What a great surprise it was to see our old friend Agness with her family at the Castle Lodge swimming pool!  She was the cook at a guesthouse where we stayed when we were first coming to Ndola.
