Greetings,
First, we would like to express our deepest appreciation for the care and support demonstrated by so many of you who wrote in to vote on the tour. It has, indeed, been a challenging time. We are acutely aware of the power of Sangha and the reason why the Buddha taught that Sangha is one of the three critical elements in waking up and ending suffering. Thank you.
The vote was overwhelmingly to cancel the rest of the East Coast tour. Most people felt it best to save the resources that would be spent on travel, etc., in order to funnel them into the project itself. There were several of you who generously offered encouragement and even financial assistance to continue and we thank you for that. We have decided to go ahead with the New York City event and fly home after that.
We still have a good amount of time for the passport and visa to come through, and still hope that Theresa can join us for some events on the West Coast, including the Bridge Walk. We continue to put our best energy in that direction!
We will continue to keep you up-to-date as things unfold.
