On Christmas Day the students at Living Compassion had rice and egg for lunch. It was a treat for them and many of them wanted their photo taken. Boniface and sister Mary show off their lunch boxes as if saying "thank you Aunt T."

A parent, Joyce Banda, came out to the property to volunteer her time. After work she posed for a photo with her son Lameck. She is living with HIV. Luckily, Lameck is negative.

Our very own Blessing, who is in the Girls Program, came running to the property when she got her Grade 7 results. She made it to Grade 8! We all congratulated her.

Little Margret, who is in Veronica's class, is happy that next year she is going to Grade One at Government School. She is the last born in a family of ten and her older siblings never went to school. She is lucky that Living Compassion came in time for her family to see the value of education. Her parents want her to get educated.

Dorcas, Audria's daughter who has diabetes, is now feeling much better and is able to eat normally. Even her weight has improved.

Mr. Chitundu is a parent who is happy with what Living Compassion is doing for the community. He took time off from his busy schedule to help out at the property. Here he is clearing the lawn.

The problem of ringworm is back among the children of Kantolomba, as can be seen by a boy who came to the property. He was in the company of his friends, who are students at Living Compassion.

Drums of all sorts and sizes are being used to make music in preparation for the Bridge Walk this year. The students are using containers, old pots, and pans.

The Bridge Walk is just around the corner and all sorts of fun programs are taking place, as can be seen by little Hector busy with his drum.

Paul shows off his growing teeth. He is so happy! He is no longer camera shy and smiles with delight at all the preparations.

Many of the team have shared their stories looking back at the transformation over the years. Older Foster sits in the shade as she tells her story when I interviewed her. Here is what she told me: "I was one of the first members of the team here in Kantolomba. I have grown with the team and the students. I have watched the first 25 students grow into fine boys and girls. A very good example is my grandchild Natasha who was in the first 100. She is still in school doing Grade 9. I am proud of her, and I know she is going to finish school."
