Hector and friend are going to Grade Two next year. It was not long ago when they were just babies in Joy's class. Today they are all grown and already climbing the Primary School ladder.

Dorcus Mukewmba is now feeling very well. Her parents have managed to stabilize her sugar levels by making sure that she gets proper medication and good nutrition.

Charles's class reading together. The two young boys looking very serious are Henry and Howard, who would be in Grade Five if their parents had money to send them to Government School. They enrolled here at Living Compassion and are doing very well. They are able to read and write, unlike some other boys and girls who stay at home because their parents cannot afford school fees. The two young ones are gaining some knowledge from the teachers here at the property.

Meet little Charles Mukambika. He is a student in Susan's class and one of the many children of Kantolomba who are living with the HIV virus. His mum and dad are both HIV positive. Currently Charles is on medication.

A pot of soya chunks being prepared. This is a delicacy to both the young and old, and around the community people have started enjoying them. The pre-packed packs are cheaper and families of Kantolomba are having them for lunch and supper in their homes.

The weather has changed, and little Margret's mum made sure that her pretty little daughter's head is well covered from the showers of rain that have being falling this week.

Mariana in class. She is going to Grade One next year. She is 9 years old and lives with her mum here in Kantolomba. Her teacher Veronica is very proud of her performance in class and says she will be a good Grade One student.

The 24th of October was our Independence day. Some of our students wore the national colors and celebrated this day with the rest of the community. Games for the children were organized. They say they had a nice time on Saturday. To them it meant celebrating the whole week.
